About the Author
Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Alan and I am a graduate from London School of Theology. Since graduating in 2018, I have slowly found myself 'deconstructing' my Pentecostal experience which had shaped many of my views about Theology.

Since the beginning of 2020, I have been introduced to some of the works of the Puritans such as Jonathan Edwards, Jeremiah Burroughs, John Bunyan, Richard Sibbes, John Owen, Thomas Manton, etc. I was then introduced to the works of Charles Spurgeon, J.I. Packer, George Whitefield, R.C. Sproul, Alistair Begg, Sinclair Ferguson and others. These works really helped me investigate what I believed about original sin, redemption, suffering, predestination and the will and manifestation of God through the Spirit in a new way.

Over the past couple of years, I have spent some time as an Associate Pastor in Buckinghamshire, and now, a full-time Pastor at Hopehall Evangelical Church in Paisley.

I have created this blog to share with those interested in my journey and to encourage people to think about their experience of God in a world of confusion.
